If you are anything like me and you have been in a long-term relationship, valentine’s day can get a bit cliche and maybe somehow boring. I have done some research and found some date ideas that are a bit unusual and a ton of fun!
1. scape rooms
This is one of my most favourite date ideas! The idea is that you are locked in a room with friends, family or just your date and you look for clues to scape in a set amount of time.
This gives you and your partner to take part in something exciting and maybe scary together, you can work together and trust me it’s a lot of fun.
2. Scavenger hunt
If you live in London, you might have heard of the ongoing scavenger hunt in London underground. You go around the city or in my case the underground and you look for clues leading you to the prizes.
You can also make your own version, put around some clues and lead your partner to their Valentine’s day gift.
3. First date deja vu
Recreate your first date! try and remember the tiny details. This will give you the opportunity to relive that excitement you had when you first met your loved one. And it’s amazing to see how much you can remember from your first date.
4. Pub or wine bar crawl
If you like your alcohol, maybe you can twist it up a bit and instead of going to a bar or a sit down meal, go around wine bars or pubs and have a great time with your significant other. I would say try and drink responsibly but we all know that it ain’t gonna happen in a pub crawl. :))
5. Spa day
If you are looking for a more relaxing Valentine’s day experiment, maybe you can try a spa day?
You can make your own at home, using flowers, scented candles, a nice bath and a lovely homemade dinner.
You can take it up a notch and book a spa day at a hotel and enjoy a whole day there, with your partner.
I hope this has given you some ideas to plan your perfect Valentine’s day. Let me know if you want me to do a post for gift ideas or a lovely valentine’s day ideas on your own.
Lots of Love
