10 Habits to develop in 2018

1. Drink more water

Have one glass before going to bed and one glass when you wakeup.

If you are trying to lose weight have a glass right before your meal. ( this will make you feel full)

2. Have a skincare routine

3. Wake up earlier

You will have more time to get things done and meet your deadlines without stressing yourself out.

4. Eliminate stress as much as you can

When you get stressed ask yourself these questions:

Why am I really feeling this way?

Can I do anything to fix the problem that’s stressing me out?

Do I have to do something about it now, or can I take it slowly and approach it in small steps?

What can I do to prevent it from getting worse?

Am I stressing out about something that happened in the past or something that will happen in the future? Remember that past has past and future is yet to come!

Is this issue permanent?

Where can I find support?

5. Have cleaning days

Give yourself one set day a week and start cleaning and decluttering  your house or your room. You will feel more relaxed in a clean and decluttered environment.

Do this while listening to your favourite playlist, it will feel less like a chore and more like a fun alone time.

6. Stop paying attention to what others have to say about you

Remember what everyone else think about you is their problem and not yours.

People will see others, the way the were brought up to see the world, so it’s not your problem to deal with.

7. No toxic friendships

You know that friend that always has something to say to you about your appearance, or that friend which texts you anytime they’re in need and won’t even remember you when they are happy? Or anyone that makes you feel down! Stop hanging out with them! Let in positive people in your life and eliminate negativity as much as possible. You will feel so so much better.

8. Daily gratitude

Write down or just simply think about what you are grateful for. You will realise that you have people around you that will go the extra mile for you, that how amazing it is to have the life you’re living and how much you have learnt from your mistakes and problems.

This way you will focus on all the positive aspects of your life and in time can transform your perspective towards life and problems.

9. Stop comparing your life to others

Try and live the life that’s best suited for you. Stop comparing your self to that beautiful girl you see online, or that friend that you think that has everything. The truth is everyone has problems, not everyone’s life is perfect. So instead of comparing, focus to make your life worth living for yourself. Focus on what YOU want from life and what will make YOU happy!

10. Treat your self every now and then

Lives can get hectic, to the point where we start losing ourselves in our work life or uni life.

Treat yourself with a massage or a mani-pedi, or buy that top you have had your eye on for quiet some time. Appreciate your self. Realise that you are more important than the work you do.

Treating yourself after completing tasks will help you not to give up cause you know that you will have a reward when the task is done!

I hope this post has given you the motivation you need to live well and to take care of yourself.

Lots of love
